There is something about uniforms that draw people’s admiration. Men and women in uniform are said to attract attention, if not, affection when they execute their virtually flawless marches and salutes.
However, there is more to uniform clothing in the PNP and other military-cultured organizations and that is the distinct snappiness brought about by a well-groomed and poised individual. One will observe that in a battalion formation, there seems to be an aura that gives out a feeling of pride. This is one of the virtues achieved from Monday Flag-raising when officers and rank-and-file police personnel are in their best stature listening to Distinguished Guests.
Primarily, The PNP AVSEGROUP in its aim to forge partnership with our stakeholders, institutionalized the Distinguished Visitors Program in line with the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 (Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule-of-Law) by inviting a Distinguished Guest of Honor and Speaker during Monday Flag Raising Ceremonies. These speakers have been meticulously chosen to represent a wide array of profession and vocation that will enhance AVSEGROUP’s services. Many have been invited since the inception of this activity. Police Chief Superintendent Pablo Francisco Balagtas ahs made it a priority to reach two (2) objectives in this now-a-tradition, namely, 1) to return to basics of discipline, and 2) to expand meaningful relationships with members of the community.
An impressive line-up of Guest of Honor and Speakers (GOHAS) have shared their two-cents worth in the past several months including Columnist and Broadcaster, Ms. Kaye O. Dacer; Manager, Intelligence & ID Pass Control Dept., MIAA Donardo I. Torres; President, Chinese Gen, Hospitl,Dr. James G. Dy; Pasay City Mayor, Antonio G. Calixto; Asst. Gen. Manager Security and Emergency Services (AGMSES), PCSUPT Jesus Gordon P. Descanzo (Ret.); President, One Enercon Solutions INc., PCSUPT Prospero C. Noble Jr. (Ret.); President and CEO, AMWSLAI, Col.
